Pianist singer-songwriter kotringo has a new album out now! This contains the title track from latest single "dare ka watashi o", and guest artists include Aoki Takamasa, Murata Shige (Kuchiroro), Tabata Yoshiaki (Beautiful Hummingbird), and toy instrument player Yoshihara Rie.

"High And Dry" (not quite safe for work)

tofubeats' latest track is a theme song for movie "imocho." (Full title: "saikin, imōto no yōsu ga chotto okashiin daga.", English title: "Recently, My Sister is Unusual."), a live action version of the anime of the same name. Tachibana Hajime, guitarist of the Plastics and also graphic designer, has a new album out now! "Monaco" was released last year as an expensive limited package (at ¥12000), but now here it is in a more easily reachable form.

"Monaco" is actually a font that was available on early Macs. Tachibana Hajime took inspiration from it to create the "Monaco Regular" and "Monaco Light" fonts for both Mac and Windows. These are included in this uniquely shaped USB memory stick, as well as 13 tracks that feature collaborations with Fujiwara Hiroshi, Takagi Kan, Osawa Shinichi and more. 4 rare live tracks by the Plastics from a show in 1977 are also included.

Here's Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's new single! "Family Party" was written especially for upcoming animated movie "Crayon Shin-chan: Serious Battle! Robot Dad Strikes Back" (Wikipedia) to open in theaters in Japan on April 19. Check out the video clip below! Both this song and B-side "Scanty Skimpy" were written and produced by Nakata Yasutaka (CAPSULE) as usual. An extended mix of "Invader Invader" is also included.

Two limited editions are available, containing dance lesson clips of "kimi ni 100 Percent" and "Invader Invader" respectively, taught by Kyary's back dancers.

Nakatsuka Takeshi has yet another 7" single out now, of two songs from latest album "Big Band Back Beat" feat. big band Iga-Bang BB. Included are covers of Gil Scott-Heron's "It's Your World" and Todd Rundgren's "Be Nice To Me".

A 4th and last 7" of this series is expected to be released later in April, as well as a first ever greatest hits album covering Takeshi's solo career. Stay tuned!
