Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has a new single coming this week! In addition to the new song, another new song ("Slow-mo") which has been featured in a TV commercial for eyewear brand ALOOK. Also an extended version of previous single "Mottai-Nightland". As always, this is produced by Nakata Yasutaka (CAPSULE).

The limited edition comes with a bonus DVD (Region 2 NTSC) in which Kyary's dancers teach how to dance along to "Ninjya Re Bang Bang Bang".

Wonder Headz is the new electro unit of Kawakami Yuu and Horikawa Itaru, two members of band Nabowa. The sound is made of vintage synths and minimal disco beats, as well as various instruments played by the duo. This first album contains remixes by Being Borings (Takimi Kenji & Kanda Tomoki), Altz and Prins Thomas.

A 12" single of song "Maskers" and its remix was also released a few weeks ago.

DJ Fukutake (aka Fukuta Takeshi) is one of the selectors who brought us the hit "Techno kayō" compilation series under the name "8-bits" in the late 90's. This new mix CD brings various Japanese rare groove from the 60's to the 80's, carefully picked from the large catalogs of Toshiba EMI and Universal Music. The whole was mixed by himself using 7" records from his collection.

Two albums related to club scene violinist Kinbara Chieko are being released at the same time.

First, Sunaga t Experience (Sunaga Tatsuo) remixes a full album worth of her best tracks into his classy danceable jazz style. It sounds like only the violin and vocals have been kept, with the rest all newly recorded with a jazz ensemble under Sunaga's direction. Includes a cover of Stevie Wonder's "For Your Love". The other album consists of remixes of Kinbara's collaboration album with singer Josh Milan aka Blaze, "Just Like Love" released a year ago. International remixers are featured, such as Souldynamic, Eric Kupper and more. Audio samples can be heard here.

"Linear Motor Girl"

Yun*chi is from agency Asobisystem (the same as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu), and this is her first full-length album. Half of the songs are brand new ones, while the rest have been previously released on mini-albums "Yun*chi" and "Shake you*", as well as from recent single "Your song*". "Your song*" is the ending theme of anime series "Log Horizon".

Songs are produced by kz (livetune), Avec Avec, Tanaka Hayato, COR!S, U-SKE (Asada Yūsuke), Tobinai Masahiro and HUM.

The Nanbatatin, a collaboration side-project of singer Nanba Shiho and Tarte Tatin, has a first album being released. The whole is produced by Yamamoto Shō of band Phenotas. Matsunaga Temma (Urbangarde) wrote lyrics of the opening track. This is also the first release for Tarte Tatin since they changed members (for the 2nd time) at the end of last year.

The limited edition first pressing includes a bonus instrumental CD. HMV also gives away a free badge with either edition (while supplies last).

"Skipped Beat" is a song by Kuwata Band (band of Southern All Stars' Kuwata Keisuke), and "Carnaby Street" (sung here in French) is originally by Henri Salvador.
