usabeni "textures!"

Self-produced idol Beni Usakura recently changed her solo artist name to usabeni (until then her nickname), with the digital release of new song "trip", and here comes a first mini-album under her new name, titled "textures!". Included is latest single "trip", as well as a re-recorded version of previous single "Cosmic Dress" (first released last March), plus new songs produced by Emiri Kanou ("lonely pop"), EnnU ("ambivalence,dance"), and Muneyoshi Matsuo (ex-instant cytron) ("Charming?", with guitar played by Goro Nagase (instant cytron)). Also included is a remix by South Korean trackmaker baehyuni (Bandcamp), of "pureness" (a song from previous mini-album "NEW").

"textures!" comes as a physical CD and is available digitally.

There will be a pop-up shop of usabeni's goods (zines, CDs, acrylic stands, key holders, mirrors, tote bags and T-shirts) at Disk Union Rock in Tokyo (in Shibuya) from October 27 to November 5, within the store's "Girlside" space. Beni will DJ in-store on the first day (Friday Oct. 27) for 30 minutes from 19:30. Find details here.

In-store events with mini-live and autograph sessions are planned, with the first at Tower Vinyl Shibuya (Tower Records 6F) on Saturday, October 28 from 15:00, also featuring talk guests Emiri Kanou and Yoshi Nagato (Pied Piper Records). Then, a release party will be held on Sunday, October 29 at Flowers Loft in Shimokitazawa, starting at 10:30 a.m. (details & tickets). A tour will also be held for the release, starting in Kobe on November 5 (with Chabe, Naoki Maezono (COUNTJOKE), etc.), then going to Fukuoka on November 19, to end at Shinjuku Marble in Tokyo on December 3.
