Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Self-produced idol Beni Usakura pursues her solo project with a new twist, as she has now started officially using the name usabeni (until then her nickname). Her first release as usabeni is a brand new song titled "trip", with music co-written by Feww (𝕏) and Hyoe Yasuhara, and lyrics by Feww.

"trip" is an advance release from Beni's upcoming mini-album "textures" to be released on October 25 (official info). A release party will be held on October 29 at Shimokitazawa Flowers Loft (details). Find more events in her full schedule, including the first event of agency Blute Company on September 23.

A CD edition of "trip" as well as a zine are available exclusively at Beni's shop Naruheson;s and at her shows.

Beni's previous most recent song is "Cosmic Dress". This year a 7" of "open mind / passion" (two recent songs produced by Emiri Kanou) was released for Record Store Day 2023 and is still available at Jet Set. A flexidisc of Childish Tones feat. Beni Usakura was also released in July, and still available at HMV.
