Way Wave "Summer Girl / Lovin' You" (7")
Way Wave is a duo formed of sisters Anna and Yuna with soulful voices, and their first 7" single is produced by Seki Yoshihiko and classifies as city pop. The A-side is original "Summer Girl", while the B-side is a cover of Minnie Riperton's "Lovin' You". Featured musicians include Kitayama Yūko (misola) on drums, Iga Wataru on bass, Yamanouchi Toshio on guitars, and on "Summer Girl" also Hase Yasuhiro (Yume to Cosme) on piano.
Several in-store events are being held, with ones on June 30 from 18:00 at HMV record shop Coppice Kichijoji, on July 1st from 15:00 at HMV record shop Shinjuku Alta, on July 11 from 19:00 at Village Vanguard Shibuya, and on July 15 from 15:00 at HMV record shop Shibuya.
