Interesting, this was one of the key labels in the birth of Shibuya-kei - the name seems based on Mike Alway's El Records although I can't confirm it...

Yes, indeed Crue-L was an important Shibuya-kei label. Now it's mainly house-oriented, though it still has ties with artists like Kahimi Karie and Cornelius.
