Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Denmark-based Brazilian/Danish garage rock band The Courettes are finally coming to Japan this month! To commemorate their visit, they are releasing a Japan-only 7" single of the song "Daydream" with for B-side a version sung in Japanese(!), and also a Japanese edition CD of latest mini-album "Back In Mono: B-sides & Outtakes" with an added bonus track ("Salta Il Ramo", B-side of their sold-out Record Store Day 2022 single). Find details below. Both releases were mixed by Seiki Satō (microstar, nicely nice), and come from Japanese labels Narisu Records & Hayabusa Landings.

For those in Japan, don't miss The Courettes! They will first appear at a free-to-watch in-store event at Tower Records Shibuya (6th floor) on October 4 from 19:00 (those who buy a related item can participate in an autograph session afterward). Then they will tour Tokyo (October 5 at Shinjuku Loft), Kyoto (October 6 at Muse), Osaka (October 7 at Namba Mele), to then appear two days in a row at the Shimane Jett Fest (October 8 & 9). The Courettes' tour is presented by none other than Guitar Wolf.
