Sally Kubota Group feat. Miki Hirayama "I'm Waiting For The Man / Zozoi" (7")
A 7" edition of the latest EP from Sally Kubota Group's "Girls At Our Best" series has just been released. Featuring singer Miki Hirayama, it contains covers of The Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting For The Man" and France Gall's "Zozoi". Check out the teaser clip below. The release comes on clear yellow vinyl, yellow being the singer's lucky color.
The corresponding CD EP released in December also includes live performances of Miki Hirayama self-covers, backed by Sally Kubota Group.
In Japan, the 7" can also be ordered directly from the label's own online shop Merurido. This is the 2nd 7" from the series, following "Video Killed The Radio Star feat. Emiri Kanou / Just What I Always Wanted feat. Natsumi Kiyoura" released last year.
Previous CD EPs were of collaborations with Chiyono Ide from 3776 ("Hong Kong Garden"), Natsumi Kiyoura of Tweedees ("Just What I Always Wanted"), and Emiri Kanou ("Video Killed The Radio Star"). Collect them all!
