Kahimi Karie "Music For Nipper"

Kahimi Karie has produced a short compilation aimed at dogs and their owners, hoping to make it ambient music able to soothe both. The music is written by Kanda Tomoki, with one track co-written by Kojima Daisuke of Port of Notes.

Nipper is the name of the famous Victor dog, who recognized "his master's voice" (the origin of HMV's name) through an early record player. Out on Victor, this compilation is sold only at HMV at this time, but will be available at other shops from February 25.

I was in love with Nunki and couldn't wait for another release by Kahimi. This release is ok. Nothing special. I guess I gotta sit in my living room with surround sound speakers and smoke pot with my shiba to fully enjoy this CD. :)--~

Not exactly. It was released on November 5 for sale at HMV only, but will be regularly released for other shops too from February 25. I added the details for the other shops in the post.

Ok, thanks for the info... Did you get this ep, Patrick? Is it any worth it?

And, of course, happy and musically lovely 2009 for you, too!

Sorry for the late reply. :) No I didn't get this yet. While I'm a big Kahimi fan, this didn't seem too much like her own stuff. I'm a bit curious though.
