This is the debut album of Julia Oki, her music described as Japanese Brazilian Crossover. The album is produced by jazz singer-songwriter akiko, and this also features artists such as Nakatsuka Takeshi, Shimizu Hirotaka (The Cornelius Group), Miura Makoto, and Yoshizawa Hajime. Included are original songs and also covers of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Pierre Barouh, etc.

Thanks for all these recommendations as always. I'm surprised not to see any recent mentions of DE DE MOUSE though, because the EP he released this year was intense and there'll be a full new CD in October, assuming I'm reading the translation of his website correctly
