pupa "floating pupa"
pupa is the brand new all-star band of Takahashi Yukihiro (YMO/HASYMO, Sketch Show) together with Harada Tomoyo, Takano Hiroshi (HAAS), Takada Ren, Horie Hirohisa (Neil and Iraiza) and Gondō Tomohiko (anonymass). A first album is coming in July.
The band is playing a first show on June 2 in Tokyo, and can also be caught on stage in August at the World Happiness festival co-curated by Takahashi, who has also designed the band's military-inspired uniforms (the first stage outfits he's done since YMO).

I wonder how this album will sound... (probably great :D)
Yesterday I went to a Yellow Magic Orchestra concert in my city (Gijón, Spain) The concert was amazing, and the featured musicians were... Christian Fennesz, Tomohiko Gondo and Ren Takada, these 2 will be part of this new project...
By the way, a new HASYMO single is coming ('The City of Light')

About the concert... yes, i'm pretty lucky, i live in a small city, i would have never thought they would come here, i still cannot believe it really... I tried to have an autograph of them but it was impossible, anyway, the concert itself was the best present i could ever have from them :)
