plantar is the solo project of Nozomu Satō (aka M. Lemon, of caméra-stylo, Fujin Club, conte (previously Orangeade), Madame Croissant). This is plantar's first album release, which features alto saxophone, bass clarinet and piano. The album is best described by the artist in the comment below!

Comment by the artist:
Each song in the album symbolizes various phenomena that I find in my daily life surrounded by nature, such as the movement of celestial bodies, a line of insects, patterns in flowers or plants, the increase and decrease of seafood, religious views, etc.

The first track titled "Theology" was composed based on my childhood experience when I sang religious songs as a member of a catholic church choir, considering the meaning it has in my current life. The natural environment uniquely guides people's faith in Sado Island where I live now. So, I crystallized my hypothesis, of how my involvement of familiar domestic rituals on Sado like Takigi-Nou or Oni-Daiko has connected with my catholic experience, in the 6 songs in this record.

Those natural ways of thinking remind me of the ancient times when music harmonized with humans and the world, and I titled my first album "Forest, Sea, Harmony".

The album is also available physically on CD and 10". Details can be found on the artist's official online shop (which ships within Japan), and the 10" is available at Juno Records (UK).
