Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Yūsuke Shima is a trumpet and flute player and composer/arranger, active professionally since 2002. He has just released a new solo album, the 4th of his "Silent Jazz Case" project which is focused on original compositions. With all brass and flute played by himself, most songs also feature pianist Yūsuke Kōno, bassist Riku Sugiura and drummer Makoto Ōtsu. The song "Walk in a back alley" was written by re:plus who also made the track. A cover of Bobby Hutcherson's "Montara" is included.
