Yano Akiko "Welcome to Jupiter"
Yano Akiko has a brand new album out now! With a concept of "adult techno music", this time she has the support of young trackmakers such as tofubeats, Seiho (Sugar's Campaign), Azuma Hitomi, Tomita Keiichi (Tomita Lab), Fukasawa Hideyuki and Ovall, with guest chorus by Kishida Shigeru (Quruli). Included are original songs and also covers such as the theme of Mothra, Happy End's "taifū", the Folk Crusaders' "kanashikute yarikirenai", and her own "Prayer" and "Tong Poo" (itself a cover of YMO to which she added lyrics). "Tong Poo" has been released in advance on 7".
A limited edition comes with a bonus disc of 7 instrumentals.

I sure would love to find a download for this latest Akiko album, which doesn't seem to be available for purchase anywhere in the USA.

Thanks for the information! I am holding off as I want to buy the vinyl LP, which is coming out in early November -- but I still like to have a digital version as well, that's why I was hoping to just find a download! Thanks for your great site here!
