World Standard "World Standard" (12")

World Standard's first original album, first released in 1985 on Haruomi Hosono's Non-Standard label, is being re-issued on vinyl remastered under the supervision of Suzuki Sōichiro (World Standard). Included are newly written liner notes by himself, in Japanese and English.

The album, which was produced by Haruomi Hosono, credited chorus by Pizzicato V on "taiyō to Daliya" and "tanpopo no osake" and by Sandii on "yashi no mi" and "Jappan Mars".

To avoid delays shipping from Japan due to COVID-19, it is suggested for U.S. customers to order from Light In The Attic. Light In The Attic and Juno (UK) are the distributors for U.S. and Europe respectively.

World Standard just released a new album last November, titled "Shikisai Ongaku", as well as a LP of an early demo (pre-World Standard) titled "Asagao" (pianola records, Far Side Music (UK), Juno (UK)).
