Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Towa Tei continues to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his solo career. Following remix collection "Towa Tei 94-14 Remix" released in July, here comes greatest hits album "94-14" and best covers album "94-14 Covers". The latter includes 6 brand new recordings, featuring Ino Hidefumi, Ikuko Harada (clammbon), Bebel Gilberto and more. The artwork of "94-14" is by Barry McGee (who also did the "Flash", "Big Fun" and "Sunny" trilogy), and the one for "94-14 Covers" is by Gokita Tomoo.

An exhibition titled "Towa Tei Thinks Pretty Things" will be held at (marunouchi) HOUSE from September 8 to 28, with a free "50th birth party" on September 12 from 21:00 at the same place featuring Osawa Shinichi, Ino Hidefumi, a live set by Dorian and more. Details at hug inc.
