Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Three Berry Icecream's first full-length album was released at the end of 2021 on vinyl (for Record Day 2021), and now here it comes as a CD edition. In addition to the album's nine songs are included a version of "Another world" sung by long time collaborator Brent Kenji, plus a new cover of "If you could speak" (of which the original was featured in movie "God Help the Girl" directed by Belle & Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch).

Three Berry Icecream is the solo unit of Mayumi Ikemizu (of Bridge), which celebrates in 2023 its 25th anniversary. Although she has released several EPs/mini-albums, and compilation albums of those songs, "Three Berry Icecream" is the first that was recorded as an album with a full band over a short span of time.

The album comes with a bonus promo DVD titled "Three Berry Icecream 1998-2023 25th Anniversary Special Movie" which consists of a retrospective of the 25 years of Three Berry Icecream, totaling about an hour. (Note that a lot of the video and audio on the DVD was recorded using home video cameras, mobile phones, etc. and therefore is not of professional retail quality.)
