Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Nickey, the singer of punk band Nickey & The Warriors formed in 1984, has just released a new EP. Included are two duets with Morishige Jūichi: title song "Le Soleil est Solitaire" and "All Kids Love Rock and Roll". This comes 7 years since her previous solo release "A Taste of Honey" (2013).

The EP was first planned to be released in May but got delayed because of the pandemic, during which a single titled "LOVE × HURTS" was made and quickly released in June. Details are included below. Audio samples of this one can be heard at CDJapan (and other retailers). The art direction of both releases was done by Sally Kubota.

Also on sale are Nickey & The Warriors' 35th anniversary album "One From the Heart" (2019, CDJapan), and 7" single "Velvet Lips" (Spotify, , YouTube Music) that was just released on RSD Drops on August 28.
