Maki Nomiya "On the sunny side of the street (feat. Phum Viphurit)" (Download)
2nd installment of her "World Tour Mix" series, here comes a collaboration of Maki Nomiya with Thai singer-songwriter and producer Phum Viphurit (Facebook page, Instagram)! This song is a self-cover of Pizzicato Five's "On the sunny side of the street", a single which also appeared on album "Overdose" (1994).
This follows "The night is still young (feat. Night Tempo)" released in December. There should be more exciting things to come this year! Recently, Maki also appeared on Tetsurō Yafune's brand new album "Song, Piano, Bass, Drums.", an album produced by Konishi Yasuharu (Pizzicato One), singing in duet on Pizzicato Five covers.
Maki celebrates this year the 40th anniversary of her debut (album "Pink no kokoro" was released in 1982), and she has a special show planned on April 29 and 30 at Billboard Live Tokyo. Find details here.
