Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Here comes a brand new album by Hazy Sour Cherry (Instagram, Facebook, Bandcamp), a cool and catchy band from Tokyo formed in 2018. "Strange World", the follow-up to 1st album "Tour De Tokyo" (2019), is now available digitally and pre-orders for the vinyl edition (coming from UK label Damnably) can be made via Bandcamp. Gakuji "Chabe" Matsuda (of Learners, Neil & Iraiza) plays guiro on "The City", and and organ on "Autumn In the Small Town".

Hazy Sour Cherry features singer Tsuzumi (also of OCHA∞ME), guitarist Jun Ham (also of HATEMAN), drummer Karin, and also the most recent member bassist Chiba (who joined after the new album's recording). The band will tour several cities in Japan for the release, until September 19 when they will play at Shihmokitazawa Live Haus. Find details here.
