Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Electro/techno-pop idol trio Cupitron's new single is a cover of the theme of "Galaxy Express 999" (in Japanese "ginga tetsudō 999", with "999" read "three nine"). The original was performed by band Godaigo and released in 1979. The new cover is produced by Cupitron's usual producer, Tobeta Bajune. Also, Matsumoto Leiji, the manga artist of "Galaxy Express 999", designed Cupitron's brand new costumes with a theme of "fairies of a digital world". See more photos at Natalie.

The single comes in 3 editions, each of which has a different B-side. The limited edition comes with a bonus DVD of the title song's music video.

A one-man live will be held on June 11 at club Womb in Shibuya.
