Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Formed in 1982 in Kyoto, Children Coup d'État is an improvisation/rock/jazz band led by bandmaster/bassist Hosoi Hisato. Currently the band still features two other original members, drummer Maebuchi Norihide (who also played in Modern Choki Chokies, etc.) and violinist K-ko, as well as guitarist Osada Osamu (ex-Modern Choki Chokies) and saxophonist mahi-mahi (zuppa di pesce, etc.).

This is their first full-length original album in 18 years according to their discography.
