Tokyo's Coolest Sound

℃-want you! (also a member of Magic, Drums & Love) is releasing a new 7" single. The A-side is a cover of The Good-Bye's "Peppermint Patty Telephone" (a song released in 1986 as B-side of single "Yes! Yes!! Yes!!!"), while the B-side is a brand new original by ℃-want you!, titled "Tokimeki" (or its full Japanese title "tokimeki o oshiete"). Both of the songs are backed by the band Kuchu Camera (in which drums are played by Hayato Nakamura of Magic, Drums & Love), with the arrangements done by the band's guitarist & singer Ryō Nakamura.

This comes on Rhion Records, and is the follow-up to "Don't Poy Me!" released last year for City Pop on Vinyl 2022. Both songs are available digitally as separate releaeses: "Tokimeki" (, Spotify, YouTube Music, OTOTOY) and "Peppermint Patty Telephone" (, Spotify, YouTube Music, https://ototoy.jp/_/default/p/1762299).

℃-want you! can be seen performing solo on August 19 at an event at Shimokitazawa New Fuchi-Kuchi (details), and also on August 26 backed by Kuchu Camera part of an event with also The Pen Friend Club, Hazy Sour Cherry and DJ Carole Ai❣️, at Shimokitazawa Live Haus from 12:30 (details).
