1. The Let's Go's "Rock'n'roll tomenai de" (2022)
(Japanese title: THE LET'S GO's 「ロックンロール止めないで」)

To start the show is the opening song from THE LET'S GO's new album "Kill By Pop" (Spotify, ‎KILL BY POP by THE LET'S GO's on Apple Music, YouTube Music) released in September. It's the first album with their current line-up formed of guitarist Coco, drummer Mariko-Mariko and new bassist Manami. Click through the YouTube music video below to find a background image for your phone.

The Let's Go's will be touring Japan for the release, and the tour finale will be held on January 9, 2023 at Shinjuku Loft. Tour details can be found here.

2. Tetsuko "Love heart" (2021)
(Japanese title: テツコ 「LOVEハート」)

Tetsuko is a "sweet punk trio" formed in 1999. The song "Love heart" is from their latest album "Perfect" (Spotify, ‎テツコの "パーフェクト"をApple Musicで, YouTube Music). Check out the music video just below, and find more on their YouTube channel.

Tetsuko's guitarist-vocalist Reiko Watanabe also has another band named Super Gentle, of which the latest album is titled "NEW" (2021) (Spotify, ‎SUPER GENTLEの "NEW"をApple Musicで, YouTube Music).

3. The Highmarts "Sorry" (2022)

The Highmarts (Bandcamp, Facebook, Twitter) is a rock band formed of three girls, taking inspiration from 60's Group Sounds. The song "Sorry" is from a brand new cassette tape mini-album titled "Dodgy Demo" which they recently started selling at their shows. It's their first recording with their current line-up featuring Suzu on guitar, Atsushi on bass and Minako on drums.

"Dodgy Demo" can now be bought at The Highmarts' online shop which ships worldwide. Some of The Highmarts' music can also be found at Bandcamp. Also watch their Facebook page where they often post for their worldwide fans. On December 8, The Highmarts will play a show with King Brothers at Shinjuku Loft (ticket info).

4. BLUEVALLEY "Boys & Girls" (2022)

BLUEVALLEY is a bassless lo-fi pop group based in Nagoya. They have just released their first full-length album "BLUEVALLEY" (Spotify, ‎BLUEVALLEY by BLUEVALLEY on Apple Music, YouTube Music), on which appears the song "Boys & Girls". Recently they also participated to LP compilation "Nu Psychic Teen Sounds!" (with an original song and cover), and a split 7" with Childish Tones feat. Beni Usakura.

It has just been announced that BLUEVALLEY will be playing shows with Space Kelly when they visit Japan in January 2023. There's a show at Kyoto Metro on January 13, also featuring Hideki Kaji and Gakuji "Chabe" Matsuda (Learners), and an extra show in Nagoya the previous day on January 12.

Presenting: The Highmarts, BLUEVALLEY, perfect young lady

5. perfect young lady "nendo no ningyohime" (2022)
(Japanese title: perfect young lady "粘土の人魚姫")

perfect young lady (Bandcamp, SoundCloud) is a girl's home recording solo project with a lo-fi electro sound and cheap-sounding synths, making catchy pop songs. After having released a first self-titled cassette tape album a year ago, she has also released an album titled "PYL 2nd SEASON..." on Bandcamp early this year.

Watch her SoundCloud which gets updated often. She also recently started a YouTube channel where she posted theme song "kanpeki na wakai josei".

6. YMCK "Hikoukigumo no Photograph" (2022)
(Japanese title: YMCK 「ひこうき雲のフォトグラフ」)

YMCK has just released its 9th album, "Family Innovation" (Spotify, ‎YMCKの "FAMILY INNOVATION"をApple Musicで, YouTube Music).

The song "Hikoukigumo no Photograph" is a city pop-inspired song, and the album actually contains a non-chiptune arrangement of it which serves to prove that the quality of YMCK's songs goes beyond the Famicom sound.

7. Beni Usakura "open mind" (2022)
(Japanese title: 宇佐蔵べに 「open mind」)

Singer Beni Usakura (Instagram, Twitter) has been releasing over the past months a few songs that were sound-produced by Emiri Kanou, and just this week a mini-album titled "NEW" (Spotify, ‎宇佐蔵べにの "NEW - EP"をApple Musicで, YouTube Music) that's also in collaboration with Emiri. The mini-album is available digitally but also on CD via Beni's own online shop (shipping within Japan) and at her shows.

A release party will be held on November 23 at Time Out Cafe & Diner (above Liquidroom in Ebisu) from noon (details & tickets), and a birthday event is also planned to be held on December 18 at Shinjuku Marble (details will be posted here).
