Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Nakano Aya has a new album coming this month! The album has imaginary "sides", the "Butterfly Side" (tracks 1 to 6) which has a jazzy big band style, and the "Glamour Side" (tracks 7 to 12) which is more rhythm & blues. The album contains two songs recently released as singles, "Asami no Blues" and "girigiri no kankei" along with more new originals, and covers of "daite kuretara ii no ni" (1988), "kamome wa kamome" (1978), "Crying in a Storm" (1965), "Boy and Girl" (1969), "nigai namida" and "Proud Mary".

Two shows are planned following the release, one with a full band and horns on June 21 at Yokohama Friday, and another celebrating the release on June 23 at Nishi-Azabu room39. Find all details on her schedule page.
