Singer-songwriter sugar me is releasing a brand new album, her first original album since "Around the Corner" (2015) which had been followed by cover mini-album "6 femmes". Featured musicians include Horie Hirohisa (Neil & Iraiza) on keyboards, Kamiya Jumpei (Akai Kutsu, Ōhashi Trio) on drums, and also Hayashibe Tomonori (Plus-Tech Squeeze Box) who arranged "Follow the Rainbow", and French musician Orwell for the arrangements of "Land Of Tomorrow" and "Nancy". The album's songs are said to range from warm-sounding acousting home recordings to jazzy alternative pop.
The album will be released digitally on the same day, October 7.
In recent news, sugar me also just recently sang on a track by Naive Super, "Keep Mine No Hidden", which will be released on 7" at the end of October. She has also sung a charity song titled "Stay With Me" in collaboration with shingo endo, available on Bandcamp.
