I've never been thrilled they've hijacked the name from Soichiro Suzuki's worldly and wistful band project. I've found myself looking twice thinking those albums are new releases by World Standard (who made their debut alongside Pizzicato Five on Haruomi Hosono's Non-Standard label in the mid 80s.)

The series takes its name from the regular Organ b. DJ event featuring Sunaga-san and Konishi-san. Considering how close Konishi and Hosono were (aside from the P5 connection, Konishi-san also wrote some lyrics and sang chorus in World Standard), it's certainly an hommage.
