Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Wink Music Service, the group formed of Keitarō Takanami (Playtime Rock, ex-Pizzicato Five) and Sally Kubota (The Scooters, She's a Rainbow, ex-The Phantom Gift/Les 5-4-3-2-1/SOLEIL), has a new single out now! These new recordings feature singer Meari of idol group Yurumerumo! (a.k.a. You'll Melt More!). The A-side is a new original titled "Night In Soho", and the B-side is a self-cover of Pizzicato Five's debut song "Audrey Hepburn Complex". While it was released on 7", it quickly sold out with reservations before its release, but fortunately it's also available digitally. Find it on your favorite download/streaming platform.

This release follows album "It Girls" (2024) (, Spotify, YouTube Music, OTOTOY) which included the songs from four previously released 7" singles that had similarly sold out very quickly. Also check out She's a Rainbow's first mini-album "Pinky Fluffy" released earlier this year, a girl group also produced by Sally Kubota and that features Lin Oberndorff who sang two songs of Wink Music Service.

A special show will be held on October 24 at Shimokitazawa Club Que featuring all four girl vocalists, and also with a special guest appearance of She's a Rainbow. Details can be found here.
