Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Way Wave's latest two songs, "Wavy Girl" and "Dance Party" released digitally earlier this year, are now being released on 7"! Both of the songs were produced by soul & funk band EMILAND. "Wavy Girl" was written by EMILAND's front member and guitarist Ultra Emi, while "Dance Party" was written by Way Wave's Yuna. Check out the music video & trailer clip below.

In-store events will be held at Tower Records Shibuya on November 17 from 19:00 (with a mini live show), and at HMV record shop Shinjuku Alta on November 21 from 15:00 (with a talk event). Way Wave's next show is on November 23 morning at Shibuya La.mama, and will feature also Yoshida Tetsuto. See Way Wave's full schedule for all details.

Also, it has just been announced that Way Wave will release a 3rd album titled "Venus Step" on December 22! Included will be these two songs and many new ones (one written by Yoshida Tetsuto), plus a cover of Crazy Ken Band's "kakkoii Boogaloo". Stay tuned for details!
