Way Wave, the funky duo unit of soulful-voiced sisters Anna and Yuna, has a brand new mini-album that has just been released! Follow-up to the excellent "Show Time", this time they have teamed up with songwriters such as Sokabe Keiichi (of Sunny Day Service) ("saikō no kareshi -the supreme man-"), funk band Only Love Hurts ("aitai no aitai no tondeike") and Seki Yoshihiko ("Hello New Wave") among others. Included is also a remake version by Yoshida Tetsuto of "surume Boy" (written by Emiri Kanou). Satō Yūsuke (caméra-stylo) and Satō Seiki (Microstar) are also involved with arrangements or mixing. The album artwork was done by famous illustrator Terry Johnson.
Way Wave already has several events planned for the start of 2020, including in-store events to promote the new release on January 5 at TOWERmini Shiodome (from 13:00 and 15:00), and on January 11 at Shinseido Sunshine City Alta in Ikebukuro (also from 13:00 and 15:00). Check out their full schedule here.
