Wack Wack Rhythm Band "at the Friday Club"
Wack Wack Rhythm Band has just released a brand new album, which is actually their first cover album! "at the Friday Club" contains covers of Marvin Gaye, The Friday Club, Cold Blood, The Supremes, Essence Of Capricorn, Frankie Valli, Georgie Fame, Young-Hold Unlimited, and also a self-cover of "Hit & Run". Guests singers are Lemon, Toshie (both ex-Wack Wack Rhythm Band), Koki Takai (Ahh! Folly Jet), Takako (The Drops) and Boo (K.O.D.P.). The album is available on CD and digitally.
Aside from being available at all good record shops, those in Japan can also order the CD directly from the band via their official online shop (along with T-shirts, badges and records).
Wack Wack Rhythm Band has upcoming shows on April 22 at mona records in Shimokitazawa, with Hideki Kaji, The Pen Friend Club, Grenfelle and DJ Toru Hashimoto (details, and on May 3 at U.F.O. Club in Koenji, with The Scooters (details).
