Tokyo's Coolest Sound

An important figure of the neo-GS scene since the 80's, bassist Sally Kubota (Sally Soul Stew, The Scooters, ex-Les 5-4-3-2-1, The Phantom Gift) did the selection for these two compilations with a common theme of danceable Group Sounds from the Shōwa era.

A DJ & talk event with Sally Kubota, Arai Hirotaka and Jimmy Mashiko will be held at Green Apple in Koenji on June 6 from 18:00. Entrance is ¥1000 + 1 drink.
