Various Artists "Zher the Zoo Yoyogi 10th Anniversary Compilation Album 'Here Come The Girl'zoo'"
Zher the ZOO (a venue in Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku) has been around for 10 years already. Here's a nice-priced compilation of various female vocal songs by artists familiar to the venue. Most of these are rare or brand new recordings. Featured are Hicksville, Merpeoples, RIS, Utsumi Yōko (ex-Soul Flower Union) and many more.
In related news, Merpeoples have announced they will be disbanding... Their last show will be held at Shimokitazawa ReG on April 5.
