Tokyo's Coolest Sound

"Cup no Fuchico" is a small woman-shaped toy that's made to fit on the edge of a cup. The character, Fuchico, comes in various positions and situations, sometimes revealing a hint of underwear like when trying to climb into the cup. The hit toy is said to have sold 5 millions.

Vanilla Beans have been chosen to sing the toy's official song. Also included on the CD is another song about the toy, though this one's lyrics were judged as not correctly representing the toy and therefore it ended up being marked unofficial.

The limited edition comes with a DVD of the music video, while another Tower Records-only limited edition of 10,000 comes with an original Fuchico wearing the chain's apron. (Since Tower Records Online doesn't ship outside of Japan, it may be possible to order it via a service like CDJapan's Special Request Shopping Service.)
