Rock band The Shaolin Brothers' new 7" single is a rock'n'roll cover of FInger 5's hit song "koi no Dial 6700", with on the flip side a new original in duet with Nomiya Maki! This follows a recent single that contained a cover of The Scooters' "Tokyo Disco Night", remade into "Tokyo Kung-Fu Night". Last year they also performed Pizzicato Five hits "Tokyo wa yoru no 7ji (the night is still young)" and "Happy Sad" in new versions produced by Konishi Yasuharu and sung by Nomiya Maki.
On Sunday November 17 afternoon, there will be an event titled "Vivid Sound Revue 'Tokyo Heat Wave'" featuring The Shaolin Brothers along with The Scooters and The Highmarts, with DJ Konishi Yasuharu and more. The show is from 13:30 to 18:00. Tickets are on sale via e+. After that the party continues at Organ bar with regular DJ event "Let's Go Young?".
