The Pen Friend Club "Merry Christmas from The Pen Friend Club"
The Pen Friend Club, a band that takes inspiration from The Beach Boys and Phil Spector (etc.), has just released a "first and last" Christmas album! Included are 15 covers, of songs by Mariah Carey ("All I Want For Christmas Is You"), Darlene Love ("Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"), Wham! ("Last Christmas"), The Beach Boys ("Little Saint Nick") and many more standards, as well as an original titled "Christmas Delights".
The Pen Friend Club will take part in a Christmas show titled "Add Some Music To Your Christmas" that will also feature RYUtist, to be held at Moon Romantic on December 22. Tickets are on sale! Meanwhile they will also make an appearance at Sazanami Label's 15th Anniversary Party on November 24 at Shinjuku Loft. All details are here.

Sure wish there would be a vinyl version -- maybe next year since I know the pressing plants are always backed up :(
