The Beatniks "Exitentialist A Xie Xie"
The Beatniks, the unit of Takahashi Yukihiro (YMO, Metafive) and Suzuki Keiichi (The Moonriders), is about to release a 5th album! "Exitentialist A Xie Xie" is the follow-up to "Last Train To Exitown". Included are 10 songs with sounds that mix rock, pop, techno, new wave and electronica. Musicians include Gondō Tomohiko, Sunahara Yoshinori, Oyamada Keigo (Cornelius), Leo Imai, Shigezumi Hiroko (Smooth Ace) and many more. All songs can be sampled here.
The album is being released on CD and vinyl at the same time. Both have different artwork.
A special show will be held on May 11 at EX Theater Roppongi. The Beatniks can also be seen on August 18 at Summer Sonic 2018 on the Billboard Japan Stage.
