The Bassons ("bass" pronounced as in "bass guitar") is a funky band with a sound based around bass and drums, formed of rapper Darthreider (a.k.a. Rei Wordup), bassist Katsuhara Daisaku, drummer Ōta Kōji, Tomohiko Gondō on flugelhorn, with the whole mixed by Dub Master X. Their new album "Through The Woods" has just been released digitally, and it also features guests Kenji Jammer and Kumiko Morita. Check out the music videos below.
An upcoming show on June 23 can be watched online. It will be held at Shimokitazawa Club Que, and also feature Childish Tones feat. Beni Usakura and Sou Matsumoto. Details can be found here.
