Shima & Shikou Duo "Road To The Deep North"

Shima & Shikou Duo, the jazz unit of Shima Yūsuke (trumpet) and Itō Shikō (piano), which has played at Fuji Rock last summer, finally has a proper album out. It includes a version of the title song produced by Sunaga Tatsuo, who had featured a song of theirs on No.6 of his popular "Jazz Allnighters" compilation series.

They duo has been acclaimed by members of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, orange pekoe, Soul & "Pimp" Sessions, and also Hatakeyama Miyuki (Port of Notes) and Italian trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso.
