Seiji is a singer from Osaka who takes his roots from French chanson. He has already been active for several years on stage, but had never got around to record his music. He decided to ask Takanami K-taro (ex-Pizzicato Five) to produce this first mini-album, which consists mainly of covers of some of his favorite old hits, but also original song "kuchibiru ni uta o". All songs are sung in Japanese, and arranged by Seiji himself.
Featured musicians are Kaji Hideki (narration), Koshi Miharu, Takekawa Masahiro (Moonriders), Kawaguchi Yoshiyuki (Kuricorder Quarter, ShibusaShirazu), and Maïa Barouh (daughter of Pierre Barouh). K-taro also sings chorus on one song.
This is a first of a trilogy (at least), the next CD to be released around December maybe.
