Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Following a series of twelve 7" of Konishi Yasuharu's all-time DJ classics under the title "Readymade mirai no ongaku" (aka "Readymade Oldays"), one a month from September 2019 to August 2020 (find them all linked here), here comes a second season! This time again he selected songs that he wished to have on 7" for playing in his DJ sets, and they will be released 3 records at a time over 4 months, summing up to 12. Below are the details of the first batch. The record sleeves this time are of the thicker type. Collect them all!

"Jasmine" is from album "The Girl from Ipanema" (1964), "Day Out" is from the soundtrack of movie "Smashing Time" (1967), "Guernica" is from album "Exciting Sax" (1967), "No Problem" is a song from movie "Liaisons Dangeureuses" apparently taken from a U.S. release titled "Foreign Film Festival Cannes" (1964), "casanova '70" is the title track of its movie soundtrack (1964), and "O Bella Bella" is from album "The Young Beat of Rome" (1964).

Aside from the links below (with international orders available via Jet Set and HMV at least), within Japan orders can also be made at Readymade Shopping or the label's shop Merurido.

The next batch will be coming on June 24. Also, a new CD+Book of the series started last year (find tose here) will be released on that same day, titled "Readymade mirai no ongaku Series - CD Book hen 07 'mata yoasobi ga koishikunaru'" and including a mix CD by Konishi. Stay tuned for details, but pre-orders can already be made at HMV.
