Nakama Sounds feat. Odoru Mie "gutto,, gaman shite!!" (Download)

Nakama Sounds (Instagram) is a recent project that's based in San Francisco, and so far features singers from Japan. This new song released recently is "gutto,, gaman shite!!", a cover of Rumi Koyama (song originally released in 1970) presented in a modern indie pop style, featuring Tokyo-based singer Odoru Mie. Check out the music video below!

Nakama Sounds' previous release was an original song out earlier in 2021, titled "Ai no Kyouhansha" (music video on YouTube) (Bandcamp, ‎愛の共犯者 (feat. 伊集院幸希) - Single by Nakama Sounds on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music) and featuring singer Yuki Ijūin.

The music is made by Marty Garrett, a member of the band Ichiban (Instagram) whose EP "Super Drive" was introduced on this site before. Ichiban's latest release is an EP titled "Take the Stage" (Bandcamp, ‎Ichibanの "Take the Stage - EP"をApple Musicで, Spotify, YouTube Music), also out in December 2021.
