Miki Hirayama & Maki Nomiya "Artist" (Download)
As the start of a project of unreleased songs written by late songwriter Kyōhei Tsutsumi, here's a new song titled "Artist" sung in duet by Miki Hirayama and Maki Nomiya. The lyrics were written by Tsutsumi's long-time collaborator Jun Hashimoto. The song is available on download/streaming platforms.
Miki Hirayama also released a previously unreleased song written by Kyōhei Tsutsumi last year, titled "Jazz obasan" (short version music video), included on her album "Triangle" (consisting only of songs written by Kyōhei Tsutsumi with lyrics by Jun Hashimoto).
Miki and Maki recently appeared on NHK TV program "Utacon", and a backstage report can be seen on Miki's YouTube channel.
On December 10, Maki Nomiya will perform a Christmas-themed acoustic show, backed by pianist Tetsuro Yafune. The place is Yukuido kobo in Ueno. Tickets are available here.
