2023 marks the 50th anniversary since the debut of Maki Natsuki (in 1973 with the single "kinu no kutsushita"). She has just recently released a cover of the classic "Tokyo Boogie Woogie", produced by contemporary composer Yūta Bandoh. The single is available on 7" and digitally. A special 50th-anniversary show will be held on September 16, 2023 at Hibiya Yaon, the famous outdoor venue which will itself celebrate this year its 100th anniversary.
