Tokyo's Coolest Sound

The Collectors' guitarist Kotarō Furuichi, also active as a solo artist and actor, has released recently three cover singles. This one has for A-side a cover of Pizzicato Five's 1997 song known in English as "To Our Children's Children's Children". First included on the P5 album "Sister Freedom Tapes", Kotarō had played guitar in the original version. This single's B-side is a cover of Ann Lewis' "Shampoo" (1979). This is available on 7" only.

The two other 7"s out at the same time are "yotte sōrō / kinbōge" (songs by George Yanagi & Rainy Wood and Kai Band) and "taisetsu na hito / ōkami ni naritaii" (songs by Smile and Miyuki Nakajima).

And, also out at the same time is a live DVD titled "Kotaro Furuichi Solo Debut 30th Anniversary Live 'omae no Blues o kikasete kure' at Billboard Liive Tokyo on 15th October, 2022", a show in which he was backed by a full band.
