Tokyo's Coolest Sound

In dramatic news last year, it was announced that all members of Kinoco Hotel had left the group, leaving only its leader (or hotel manager) Marianne Shinonome. Now she's back with a brand new full-length album that marks a new chapter of Kinoco Hotel, which celebrates its 16th anniversary this year. "Marianne no Kyōten" is the 9th album, follow-up to "Marianne no mikkai" (2021).

A 16th-anniversary show will be held on June 24 at Tokyo Kinema Club, with Marianne backed by a band of support members (or part-time workers). Details can be found here.
