Tokyo's Coolest Sound

KETTLES (Facebook, Bandcamp, Twitter) is a rock'n'roll duo of guitar and drums formed in 2008, who both also sing. Here comes a 7" single of two covers of which they had posted performances on YouTube in 2014 and 2015, doing their own takes of The La's "Timeless Melody" and Beck "Devils Haircut" both sung in Japanese lyrics!

The release comes from BOOTREC and KiliKiliVilla, a combination that had been bringing the releases of Childish Tones and Childish Tones feat. Beni Usakura. This is the first of a new series of releases under the "Nu Psychic Teen Sounds!" slogan.

The next release from BOOTREC will be a 7" of Childish Tones feat. Beni Usakura's "Girls Wanna See No Cry / tsumetai hatsukoi (It's Cold Outside)", coming on December 10. Stay tuned for details!
