Tokyo's Coolest Sound

Jenny Jenny (Instagram, 𝕏) is a 4-piece girl band formed in 2022, a new sensation of Tokyo's garage rock scene. Having been playing many shows in and out of town, here finally comes their first release as a 7" single. The A-side is their theme song, a cover of Little Richard's "Jenny Jenny", while the B-side is a cover of The Kinks' "You Really Got Me". Both are sung in Japanese with original lyrics written by leader Carole Ai❣️, who is also a member of Childish Tones.

The release comes from the label Radio Underground ran by Daddy-O-Nov known for the event series "Back From The Grave" (as seen in the documentary movie "Garage Rockin' Craze").

Those who buy the 7" at Disk Union Rock in Tokyo (in Shibuya) can attend an in-store event on Thursday December 7 from 21:00. There will be a mini-live show and an autograph session. Find details here.
