(A bit late to announce this as there was nowhere to order it online internationally, but now it's at Jet Set!)
Here comes a series of 7" releases selected by Konishi Yasuharu! Under the title "Readymade mirai no ongaku" (translates to "Readymade Music of the Future") and with center label design that reads "Readymade Oldays", the series will bring tracks that are all-time classics from Konishi's DJ sets, most of which are available on his format of choice for the first time worldwide. The series will bring one 7" release every month for 12 months, each pressed to 500 copies. Below are the details of the first release. Look forward to another one at the end of each month (full list below). Collect them all!
The first of the series has for A-side Jackie & Roy's "cheerful little earful", a song from album "Double Take" (1961, which Konishi once had re-issued on CD circa 1994), and the other side is Polish group NOVI Singers' "dancing nuts" (1967). Both are full of scat, and for the first time ever on 7".
