Izumi "Mimi" Kobayashi (Instagram), who composed "Lum no Love Song" (the popular theme song of "Urusei Yatsura"), is back with a brand new "rebooted" version of it with a jungle beat. The B-side is also a self-cover of an anime theme song, "Bambutsuruten" from "Tokyo Gambo" (music video of the original version).
Remixes of "Lum no Love Song" by Kenmochi Hidefumi (Wednesday Campanella, xiangyu), Gus Bonito (of Kero Kero Bonito) and Limited Toss are also being prepared!
Re-issues of six albums of Mimi's will be released on CD on November 24: "Orange Sky - Endless Summer" (1978), "Sea Flight" (1978), "Coconuts High" (1981), "Nuts, Nuts, Nuts" (1982), "Tropicana" (1983) and "iK.i" (1989).
